Verse: 1
There’s a place and a way I found,
it’s on a road that has no signs.
far away from the lights and sound
exchange your body for your mind.
Pre-Chorus:
Forget the things you used to say,
leave behind you what is past.
watch the old man fall away
look to the only thing that lasts.
Seek the One who wrote the plan
The One who gave His life for you
The Spirit fills, so you understand you must
replace the darkness with the truth
exchange the darkness for the truth
Break:
Verse 2:
We're all running in this race,
trying not to fall behind.
all these things that we love to chase
yet happiness we just can't find
Pre-Chorus:
It doesn’t matter what we try,
nothing else can make us whole
belief in Him is all we need
Grace is His gift to every soul
Chorus:
Seek the One who wrote the plan
the One who gave His life for you
the Spirit fills, so you understand
replace the darkness with the truth
exchange the darkness for the truth
Solo:
Verse: 3
Day by day we all live our lives
hoping what we find is truth
when the answers aren’t so clear
there’s just one thing you need to do
Pre-Chorus:
Just walk through that open door
follow the path that leads to Him
He’s the one you’re searching for
His gift of love paid for your sins
Chorus:
Seek the One who wrote the plans
the One who gave His life for you
the Spirit fills, so you understand you must
replace the darkness with the truth
exchange the darkness for the truth
