Verse: 1
Have you ever wondered
just what’s really going on
it all can seem so random
the conclusions that are drawn
Something else is happening
God has always had a plan
it works while no one’s watching
a shepherd looking for his lamb
Pre-Chorus
It’s running in the background
and there might only be a few
but some will choose to listen
to the one they call the Truth
Chorus:
The invisible heroes
every day you’ll pass one by
they move just like a whisper
toward the God they can’t deny
Invisible heroes
receive their guidance from above
they give God all the glory
while they spread His gift of love
Verse: 2
The lost they need salvation
and someone needs to share the news
there’s a conflict slowly brewing
and every one will have to choose
Some will fall for the deceptions
worship one who is a liar
give away their place in heaven
to spend forever in the fire
Pre-Chorus:
It’s running in the background
while there might only be a few
but some will choose to listen
to the one who’s called the Truth
Chorus:
The invisible heroes
every day you’ll pass one by
they move just like a whisper
toward the God they can’t deny
Invisible heroes
receive their guidance from above
they give God all the glory
while they spread His gift of love
Verse: 3
A treasure laid up in heaven
will be waiting for them all
those sheep that heard their shepherd
and responded to his call
They’re waiting in the background
for their savior to return
He will take them all to heaven
where they can watch the tables turn
Chorus:
The invisible heroes
every day you’ll pass one by
they move just like a whisper
toward the God they can’t deny
Invisible heroes
receive their guidance from above
they give God all the glory
while they spread His gift of love
