The music you find on this website is a result of the things that I have learned and experienced in my life, as I have attempted to understand my relationship with God and the world around me. I believe all of my spiritual growth and observations have come as a result of my endless pursuit of truth, through the daily study of God‘s Word with the guidance of the Holy Spirit. God has given us all of the necessary tools to learn about Him so we can enjoy a fulfilling and prosperous spiritual life. I feel that many people don’t really understand the peace and the happiness that can be achieved through a growing and continuously evolving personal relationship with God. I have been a believer in Jesus Christ all of my life, but for most it I was pretty much lost. I didn’t really understand how to practice my faith or how to improve it in a way that felt right to me. The physical demands and temptations of my life had kept me busy and distracted. I had no idea that the resources I needed had been all around me the whole time. It was 2012 when the lightbulb turned on for me. My mother, who was a loving gentle woman that attended church a few times a week and was a devoted student of God‘s word had just passed. As result I found myself in possession of a nice iPad of hers that had a large number of MP3 Bible lessons on it. I remember my first thought was, I’m going to erase all these Bible lessons to free up space so I can make myself a large collection of all the music I love. Right as I was getting ready to highlight and delete all those files, I thought, “I wonder what she was listening to”. That one moment, one curiosity, changed the entire trajectory of my life. I guess some force or something inside me was saying “why don’t you give this a listen?”. Well, I decided to hit play on one of those bible lessons and through that one act of positive volition, my life was completely transformed. I immediately felt nourished from what I had heard, and I knew that I had to make time to hear more of it. I’ve been listening every day since then, for whatever amount of time I can manage. My attitude toward life, my personal relationships with people and God are completely different now, and all of them have changed for the better. The whole idea of the “Church Age Disciples” project has resulted from that one small decision that turned out to be so big. I have realized that it is good to learn about and have God in my life every single day.
